Overview of the Brain–Gut Health Initiative (BIGHI)

The BIGHI integrates magnetic resonance imaging, electroencephalography, blood biomarkers, and gut microbiome data from over 1,000 participants to enable mechanistic insights and AI-assisted diagnostic research, addressing the rising burden of psychiatric disorders and the limits of symptom-based diagnosis.
