This video from EYE & ENT Hospital of Fudan University shows hearing and speech recovery progress captured over a period of 2 years and 7 months after receiving a single injection of OTOF gene therapy in both ears. The international study, co-led by investigators from Mass General Brigham and the Eye & ENT Hospital of Fudan University, showed that a gene therapy for a rare form of genetic deafness successfully restored hearing in 90% of 42 participants treated.
