Schematic overview of an ovarian follicle-based angiogenesis microphysiological system (OF-AMPS). Growing ovarian follicles serve as self-contained angiogenic microphysiological units, enabling the rapid formation of complex 3D vascular networks within 24 hours without exogenous VEGF. The platform supports multimodal imaging and quantitative analysis and can be used for screening of small-molecule libraries to identify anti-angiogenic compounds with translational potential.
