Microstructure, laser lighting performance, and prototype applications of AlN-YAG:Ce composite phosphor ceramics (IMAGE)
Caption
The microstructure of the AlN-YAG:Ce CPCs exhibits a uniform distribution of AlN and YAG:Ce phases. Although a distinct interfacial reaction zone exists between the two phases, the incorporation of AlN achieves a synergistic improvement in both thermal stability and luminescent performance. Specifically, the 10 vol.% AlN-YAG:Ce CPCs achieves a luminous efficacy of 200.1 lm·W-1. When coupled with a 10 W blue laser, the resulting prototype laser luminaire emits high-quality white light with a beam distance of up to 500 m, demonstrating promising application prospects in the field of laser lighting.
