Lantern-Inspired Expandable Electrode for Recording Brain Signals from the Lateral Ventricle

A schematic showing the lantern-inspired flexible electrode used in the lateral ventricular brain–computer interface. Inserted in a compact form through a minimally invasive pathway, the electrode expands inside the ventricle and gently conforms to the ventricular wall for stable long-term neural recording.
