Representative Reduction in Cerebral Amyloid Deposition in a Patient Treated with Lecanemab Over 12 Months (IMAGE)
Caption
Serial Aβ-PET scans are displayed at baseline (top row) to 6 months (middle row) and 12 months (bottom row) of treatment. For each time point, the right lateral surface view (left column) and the left lateral surface view (right column) are displayed. Aβ deposition is represented as Z-scores, indicating the number of standard deviations from the mean of a cognitively normal reference cohort. The color scale ranges from –2 to 4, where values near zero (green) reflect normal Aβ levels, and positive values (yellow/red) represent abnormal accumulation. Progressive reduction in Z-scores across time points illustrates amyloid clearance in response to lecanemab. Aβ-PET: Aβ positron emission tomography.
