Thickness-Regulated Interfacial Polarization in CTAB-Tailored Bi2WO6 for Enhanced Piezocatalysis (IMAGE)
Caption
CTAB was physically adsorbed on the surface of Bi2WO6 via a hydrothermal method to inhibit interlayer stacking, thus fabricating atomically thick bismuth tungstate nanosheets. The polarization capability of the prepared material was also significantly enhanced. Furthermore, the upward shift of the valence band maximum (VBM) induced by the adsorption of Br⁻ on the material surface effectively narrows the band gap of bismuth tungstate, which is more conducive to charge separation. As a result, the dual modulation of the morphology and interfacial polarization capability of bismuth tungstate has been successfully achieved.
