CsNAC17 binds to the NACRS elements in the CsRPM1 promoter, thereby activating its transcription. CsbHLH62 enhances CsNAC17’s binding and activity on CsRPM1. CsNAC17–CsbHLH62–CsRPM1 module induces a hypersensitivity reaction, thereby increasing the resistance to C. gloeosporioides.
