Caption
The hepatic symptoms of Wilson’s disease are diverse, ranging from asymptomatic or accidental liver abnormalities to cirrhosis and acute liver failure, and they can onset at any age. The later the age of diagnosis, the greater the likelihood of developing cirrhosis. K-F rings are a reasonably independent clinical sign of WD; they may also represent the severity and progression of the disease. In addition, long-term copper removal treatment is safe and effective. Early detection and early treatment play an important role in controlling the progression of the disease.
