Images of quantum grade fluorescent nanodiamonds by SEM and live cells uptaking the nanodiamonds

Researchers have developed nanodiamonds (NDs) with nitrogen-vacancy (NV) centers that exhibit superior spin properties and fluorescence compared to commercial NDs. These NDs demonstrate longer spin relaxation times and require less microwave power for spin detection, making them ideal for quantum sensing in biological samples.
