Young Kim, HemaChrome founder and chief science officer and Purdue University researcher, has developed a patent-pending method to extract true colors from a digital photo. HemaChrome uses the method in its smartphone technology to measure blood hemoglobin levels from a digital photo of the inner eyelid. HemaChrome is collaborating with Global Health Labs to enhance the technology.
