This collaborative research team at the Wyss Institute led by Samir Mitragotri (on the far right) and Michael Super (left of Mitragotri) won a DARPA-SHIELD contract to develop a first-of-its-kind biologically engineered broad-spectrum antimicrobial therapeutic that can be broadly administered to trauma victims without immediate access to health care facilities.
