The nanometer lamellar structures in the (TiZrV0.15Nb)C0.8 sample with the same orientation at the critical point of the transition from single phase to multiple phases. The lattice distortion (δ) and mixed enthalpy (∆HmixΩA-B ) of (TiZrVxNb)C0.8 carbides with the change of V content. The semi-coherent interface between the decomposed structures. The nanometer lamellar structures in the (TiZrV0.15Nb)C0.8 sample are identified with the same orientation with higher strain. The lattice distortion (δ) and mixed enthalpy (∆HmixΩA-B ) of (TiZrVxNb)C0.8 carbides increase with the addition of V content leading to the transition from single phase to multiple phases. The semi-coherent interface between the decomposed structures of the Zr-poor phase and Zr-rich phase with high dislocation density.
